Users bought tokens through its built-in payment system and spent them to look up pesticide solutions for their weed and pest problems. Seed Image Recognition Seed Image Recognition (SIR) 2010 · Machine vision classifier sir.herbiguide.net Software for teaching a camera to tell weed seeds from grain. It took the shape measurements of every object in a set of seed images, grouped them by k-means and fitted a discriminant model in R, let the user draw each seed class’s boundary on the model’s plot, then compiled those boundaries into a C++ filter for the imaging system. Now rebuilt for the browser. HerbiGuide 97 for Windows 95 1997 · Runs in your browser win95.herbiguide.net The first Windows release of HerbiGuide, which took the expert system off DOS and onto the Windows 95 desktop to advise farmers and consultants on controlling weeds and pests in their crops. The original program runs unmodified in your browser, inside an emulated Windows 95 PC. The FARM Game 1992 · Runs in your browser dos.herbiguide.net/farmgame Financial And Rural Management — educational software teaching good farming practice by putting the player in charge of running a farm. Won First Prize in the international CompuFarm Competition, presented by the Hon. Simon Crean MP, and an Encouragement Award at the Australian Farm Software Competition, Sydney Royal Show. HerbiGuide 92 Demo 1992 · Demonstration version dos.herbiguide.net/hg92demo The demonstration disk for HerbiGuide, “the herbicide expert on a disk”, built to show farmers and consultants what the program does: advise which chemicals to use to control weeds and pests in their crops. That year HerbiGuide was named best new agricultural software product at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. HerbiGuide 88 1988 · The original HerbiGuide dos.herbiguide.net/hg88 The original version of HerbiGuide, written while still at school and the start of the business that became HerbiGuide Pty Ltd. It advised farmers and consultants on which chemicals to use to control pests in their crops — the program that is still sold today, now in its 40th major version.

Customers could pay online, run HerbiGuide Online — the expert system rebuilt as a Silverlight application — in their browser, or follow the link to the HerbiGuide Android app. HerbiGuide (2006) 2006 · Website 2006.herbiguide.net The HerbiGuide website developed in 2006 on DotNetNuke. Alongside the online store, forum and downloadable demo and evaluation versions, it held descriptions of more than 700 weeds and pests, over a thousand photographs, and a library of guides on weed identification, herbicide susceptibility and control strategies.
